Looking for a day of fun with the entire family? Well come out and enjoy a family fun day at the Hamilton Mompreneurs Showcase at Valley Park Recreation Center (10:00 am - 4:00 pm). Mom and Dad can browse and shop and children can enjoy a full day of activities including Calvin the Magician, storytime sessions, some amazing creatures from Reptile Store.CA, facepainting, balloon animals, some of your favorite kids characters and much more. Demos and seminars also taking place.
Free admission with donation to the Canadian National Autism Foundation or non-perishable food item, Swag Bags for the first 100 families and Charity BBQ. Enjoy some sweets by visiting the Sweetness Bakery Food Truck.

The annual Central Ontario Boat Show & Sale is the perfect family outing. Dealers are coming from as far West as Chatham, as far East as Peterborough as far North Bracebridge and South to Fort Erie. Boaters can find everything they need, in addition to boats, from lifejackets to shatter proof dishes to rafts from a number of booths located within The Mariner’s Marketplace. Something new this year is the COBSS Seminar Stage, where experts will come together to deliver complete and comprehensive information on boating safely and other topics.

Consumers will be able to come together and learn from celebrities, specialists and experts in home design, decorating and landscaping. This year’s show features the “Super Stage” where celebrities will lead the audience through everything from how-to create scrumptious meals using home-grown ingredients to the most popular paint colours and fabrics of 2012. After consumers have learnt all they can from our celebrity guests, they can then put these tools and tips to use where more than 3 football fields of exhibitors will be on hand with everything from fireplaces to furniture to the latest in home theatre.
